Our diagnostic fee is the same regardless of when you call. Parts and labor are priced the same as standard service calls. No emergency surcharges.
If your car is stuck inside, we prioritize your call. In the meantime, you can try the emergency release cord (the red handle hanging from the opener track) to disengage the opener and lift the door manually. If the door is too heavy to lift, a spring is likely broken—wait for us.
It depends on your situation. If your car is trapped or your home is exposed, yes. If the door is closed and you can wait until tomorrow, it's less urgent. Either way, don't try to operate the door with a broken spring.
We don't recommend it. An open garage is an invitation for theft, animals, and weather damage. If you're in this situation, call us and we'll do our best to get to you before the end of the day.
If we diagnose a problem that requires a part we don't have on the truck, we'll secure your door as best we can and schedule the repair for the earliest possible time. We won't leave you completely stuck.
